Now — 2024 Edition
Kathmandu Fashion Week debuts this September with nine trailblazing designers, a single electrifying runway, and a mission to spotlight Nepal’s vibrant sartorial heritage. Expect hand‑loomed Dhaka silks, up‑cycled denim couture, and real‑time livestreams reaching fashion capitals worldwide.
Looking Ahead — 2025 & Beyond
The future promises even greater success, with increased global market access, stronger support networks, and advancements in sustainability. Nepalese designers are set to make a significant mark on the global fashion scene, showcasing the nation’s rich cultural heritage and innovative spirit.

I had a great time at Kathmandu Fashion Week a few months back. It was such a fun experience watching all the designers do their thing. Really loved the creativity on display. Big kudos to the pieces that highlighted Nepali-made Dhaka from Muku and pushed sustainable fashion. Loved seeing those messages come through! Wishing the team all the best for Season 2 !! Kathmandu Fashion Week 2024 was a wonderfully put-together show that I thoroughly enjoyed attending. It was wonderful to see beautiful designs on the ramp and also the beautiful audience of Kathmandu - from media personalities to Diplomats attend and enjoy the showcase by Nepal's best designers. I worked as a fashion show director/choreographer for Kathmandu Fashion Week's 1st edition. It was a wonderful experience. I loved the planning and smooth execution of the show. As a show director, I was given freedom to do my work in a great working environment. I loved every collection showcased. Our models did an amazing job of portraying the collection in the best possible way. All the designers really worked hard, and it did pay off. We got amazing reviews from the audiences too.
