Kathmandu Fashion Week is back this September for its 26-27 edition. Over two days, Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th, leading designers from across Nepal return to the runway with brand new collections that blend modern design with Nepalese craft and identity. Presented by FDCN, it is two evenings of bold ideas, rising talent, and the creative energy carrying Nepali fashion onto the world stage.
Designer Call for 26-27
Kathmandu Fashion Week is now accepting applications from talented fashion designers ready to present their vision on Nepal's most prestigious fashion runway. Join an exclusive platform that celebrates creativity, innovation, and the future of Nepali fashion.
Eligibility Criteria
- —Applicants must be a certified Fashion Designer from a recognized fashion school, institute, university, or academy.
- —Designers must own or represent their own fashion label or brand (preferred).
- —The collection presented must be 100% original and created by the applicant.
- —Designers must be available for all official fittings, rehearsals, and show schedules.
- —Kathmandu Fashion Week reserves the right to accept or reject any application after the curation process.
Collection Requirements
- —Present a minimum of 12 exclusive runway looks.
- —The collection must be new and unreleased, not previously showcased at any major fashion event.
- —Collections should demonstrate a strong creative concept, quality craftsmanship, and runway presentation.
- —Categories may include Womenswear, Menswear, Couture, Bridal, Ready-to-Wear, Resort, Avant-Garde, Accessories, or other fashion categories.

- 3.Brand Profile (if applicable)
- 4.Portfolio or Lookbook
- 5.Sketches or concept board of the proposed collection
- 6.Website or Instagram profile
- 7.Recent designer profile photo
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the Kathmandu Fashion Week Selection Committee. Selected designers will be contacted for the next stage and participation details. Selection will be based on creativity, originality, technical excellence, and runway potential.
